Instructions
For Post Extraction
- Bite on to the cotton/gauze firmly for about 30 to 40 mins.
- Drink one glassful of ice cold water and have an icecream immediately after removing the cotton/gauze.
- Start the medicines immediately along with the ice cold water.
- Do not rinse. Do not gargle. Do not spit today. Swallow the saliva.
- Apply cold compresses alternatively for 10 to 15 mins for at least two hours after the extraction.
- Have an absolutely cold and semisolid meal for 2 days, like ice creams/ milk shakes/ puddings/ cold soups/ pasta/ smoothies/ yogurt etc.
- Do not excercise or smoke, for a week after extraction.
- Do not take a hot shower for a few days after the extraction.
- If the wound is sutured, please come back to remove sutures after one week.
- Avoid using a toothbrush in the extracted site atleast for 2 days. However, please continue the mouthwash and brushing inall other areas of the mouth.
- In case of emergeny, contact your dentist immediately.
- Visit your dentist every 6 months.
